Since graduating with a BSc (Hons) degree (aff) Leeds Metropolitan University, Anna has gained extensive experience working within sports therapy and sports training environments, working with a range of different client groups from general population through to recreational and performance athletes.
She has assisted with several sports teams which include running, boxing, football and rugby and continues to be active throughout the sporting calendar, providing support to many sports events during the year across Northumberland. These include VO2 max racing triathlons, The Wooler Wheel and The North East Marathon Club.
Anna continues to develop her professional skills and knowledge base to maintain an evidence based approach to her practice. She has undertaken qualifications within fitness instruction, pilates, strength and conditioning as well as sports first aid training. She has undertaken a Strength and Conditioning Internship at Newcastle University where she developed sports specific rehabilitation programmes for performance athletes as well as assisting coaching staff with performance squads.
She was brought up enjoying a very active lifestyle including sports such as football, hockey, athletics and outdoor activities involving cycling, walking and running.
Currently, she can be found keeping active with inline skating, boxing conditioning and strength training.
